A fairy cup...?!

It's been a busy day catching up with things so I didn't have time to do a "Saturday Scrapbook" blip today.

However when I was visiting my father he pointed out some toadstools growing on the lawn outside his flat. I thought they definitely deserved blipping.

This is the nicest one. In a whimsical moment I thought it looked a bit like a cup that a fairy might use - and with all today's rain it had a pool of water in it which gave some nice reflections.

I'm totally ignorant when it comes to identifying fungi, but from what I've found on the web I think it may be a Funnel Woodcap (Lentinus Sajor-caju) - but if anyone knows I'm wrong I'm happy to be corrected!   :)
