A Day Worth Recording

Minack

Day 2 of our minihol and we've ventured even further west.  The Minack theatre is an amazing place, not just because of the unique structure and setting but because it's the DIY work of one 'old' lady and her gardener.

We had mulled on watching a performance there tonight but having dodged and weaved around miles of Cornish lanes to get there in the daylight I didn't fancy doing it again at midnight with 100 others.

We walked along the coast path (extra photo) to Porthgwarra where we were pleased to find a Proper Cream Tea (Cottage-in-the-wood, please note) with two large scones and sufficient clotted cream and jam to need two large scones.

Climbing hills on the way back seemed a bit slower for some reason.
