Messing About With Boats

We went to Warwick this afternoon to see Maureen. As it is still a Heritage day we took a walk across the racecourse to the canal where there was a small festival going on.  Folk music, model boats, canal trips, tombola, craft shop, bar and goat (don't ask!).

We stopped for a while then continued along the towpath to cut through the woods and back via the racecourse.  A really nice walk, it was not sunny but dry and warm.

We then had a cuppa at Maureen's and home to one of my favourite meals, pasta bake, and settled down to watch the latest Nordic Noir, Beck and tennis, though at time of writing (9pm) it is raining at Flushing Meadows, we may have to watch An Inspector Calls.

Late News: I watched This Is England 90 with Tom - the rest are recording
