Chalk

Words wait to emerge,
As do figures from rough stone.
A chalk cathedral.

Last image from our Cambridge trip.  This is the chalk pit which is over the road from the camp site.  A huge open space good for walking the dog.  Also, good for night time revels and  camp fires, judging by some of the detritus.  Not quite sure of it's history, but there are odd bits of old tarmac here and there, upon which people have written in ...guess what ... chalk.

While I was walking round one day I notices a lady sitting very still  on a few tumbled boulders (an unintentional sculpture),  she seemed to be praying, or perhaps reading. Alone in a private world.   Words can do that....

Thanks for comments and faves on the blips from this trip I will catch up on comments over the next few days.  Deterimined to get back up to date with blip!
