Grand Prix!

I did not wake up till 9.30 but then I didn't get to sleep till nearly 2 what with a noisy ac etc.

Stated the day with breakfast Vietnam style and a week round Hamlets. #1 son wording so just the three of us. Then to the Marina Bay Gardens. A lot of walking around admiring plants and going along the walkway on the 'trees'. Hazy but not too bad. A lot of areas closed off did the F1 including the Singapore Flyer and much helicopter traffic. After drinks and cakes it was back to the hotel to cool off in the pool before getting ready to go out. Olivia was shouting and screaming in the pool. She loves it.

Out was too the Stamford Tower, scene of a romantic dinner in 2006 but today squashed into a bedroom to watch the practice rounds from the balcony and chat to #1 son's colleagues. I saw Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg go past, very fast.

We left after wine and nibbles after 9. Olivia had been very good but was tired. Some food on the way home before it shut and then flaked out by 11.
