Spiers Wharf

A fabulous day with perfect reflections in the canal at Spiers Wharf. Around the early 19th century, the Wharf became the hub of Glasgow’s industrial revolution as boats uploaded or unloaded their cargoes here. This iconic North Glasgow landmark faces west with stunning views across the city from the loft-style conversions.  The two extra pictures show different detail.
The only problem I found was that there was not an inch of parking space left even in the middle of the afternoon and I had to leave the car about half a mile away. It did not matter on a day like today but if I was visiting someone here regularly (or living here) it might be a bit frustrating. There are about 150 flats but not room for anything like 150 cars.
