Pink waxcap

Walking around the churchyard at Ebanoe I noticed this beautiful Pink Waxcap Hygrocybe calyptriformis, that had been knocked over.
I'm not sure whether it was me or not, but fortunately there was a whole patch of them, and the rest were fine, so I picked this one up and took a picture of it.
The Pink Waxcap is considered one of the most beautiful of the waxcaps, and is now sadly quite rare. It is usually found is cropped unfertilised grassland, occasionally churchyards in late summer and autumn.
I think it is really beautiful, such a delicate pink colour.
I am glad the fungi season is upon us!
