Mono-Monday: "Grunge" - Windfall Apple

Thanks again to chantler63 for hosting MM again this week - and for suggesting such an intriguing title this time!

My Editor helped me think of suitable subject matter; we ended up using this windfall apple which has been well and truly nibbled by one of our nocturnal garden visitors. It certainly looks pretty grungy to me :)

The extra is a rather pretty nuthatch who came for his/her lunch today.
