Men With Grungy Dredged Logs

Mono Monday - Grunge
Hosted by chantler63

The Willamette River cuts through Portland and there is always something going on in it. The following describes the 'extra' which looked good for the main, until I looked at the barge shot:
"Initially when the top six feet of this object was coming out of the water it appeared to be a muck dredging bucket. But it kept getting longer and longer, probably about 40 feet. And it joined the other logs on the barge in short time."

I spotted a bell diver in the water whose job it was to put that massive chain around the log. There are probably hundreds if not thousands of logs in the Willamette River to show proof of this area as a major lumber center at one time, and still to a certain extent.
