The Naming of Things

I took this from Blue Tower. I asked why there were pictures of the Doctors on the wall. I was told I was in the Doctor Who room.

Yesterday I was in a room called Perseverance. I asked what the other rooms were called - Patience and Determination. They all represent the core values of that company. I felt I was in a scene from John Bunyan's Pilgrims Progress.

Great views from Blue. And appropriate for today. 22nd September 1955 marked the beginning of commercial TV in the UK. The first advert was apparently for Gibbs toothpaste. And Coronation Street started a few years later, today is the third live one ever apparently. I was told the marquees visible here had been put up so the actors could learn their lines.
