Discombobulated

Desperate times need desperate measures, which is why His Lordship is sitting looking pensive with his lap top in the local Starbucks just after 9am in order to access the Internet.

Starbucks with its dodgy UK tax status wasn't our first choice but the independent bookshop with free WiFi was not open as advertised and we were desperate to be part of the wider world again.

Having no internet connection is bitter sweet.
On the plus side, there is so much more time available for other pastimes which wisely do not include dusting and vacuuming, but a little light reading and drawing.

On the negative side, it is hard to do without Google, the external hard drive brain for the elderly forgetful and the fathomless fount of knowledge for silver surfers.
