SEADHEAD OF THE PEONY FLOWER

A quiet day, we both enjoyed. It is still possible to sit on the balcony and read our books. I fell asleep just before lunch, the sun was shining and my mind had been suddenly full of all those sentences.
After lunch it was Piet Hein who had a short nap, but when he awoke, he asked immediately where will we walk?
I suggested to drive to the Axel lake, not far from where we live, and walk around it. It is not a real lake but a gravel pit. There live some ducks in it and a swan pair. They slowly floated on the surface.
The dragonflies were still chasing, but they flew rather high and truly swift.

My haiku:

Sssssssssssst
Don't wake us up, we dream a lot
As if in wonderland

And the proverb:

Wonders will never cease.
