I spent the last day of the cricket season watching Surrey against Northants and somehow I ended up with over 600 photos - what's wrong with me?

It was a full and exciting days cricket with over 400 runs scored and 14 wickets falling but it ended, slightly disappointingly, in a draw. This result was still enough to ensure that Surrey won the Division 2 title and will be playing in the big time again next year.

This shot shows the Sri Lankan maestro Kumar Sangakkara in action. Sadly it was his final piece of action in a very brief innings as he was caught on the third man boundary for only nine runs - still he did make a century first time out.
