...and the river Severn beyond. The street so spacious that it resembles a car park is Bisley Road, a sough-after address in Stroud.

I walk home through the cemetery most days, and always marvel at the long-distance views. Today I was pleased to realise that, though the shot is noisy, I've actually managed to capture the thread of river.

Tonight's dinner was Trout in Chermoula (from Hugh F-W's Light and Easy) and roasted veg; plus rhubarb with g-f crumble, and one or two of a batch of g-f firelighter biscuits that I baked for emergencies. Time was my friend this evening. Long may this continue!
