Going for it!

Today it was Relay Day at the Junior Inter Regional Championships with teams of three competing against each other, made up of a 14, 16 and 18 year old.  The event was at Oldacre and the area was magical when we arrived with early morning mist coating the cobwebs with water droplets.  The sun soon burned off the mist and the competition began.  The young people are friends with runners from other squads before and after the event, but during they are strictly competitive.  My blip shows orienteers from three different squads arriving at the final control together and then trying to outsprint each other to the changeover and finish.  Great fun!

1400 blips taken today, narrowed down to 900+!
