Tiny Tuesday - Cobweb Bling

Envious of all the fascinating insects that are being posted on Blip, I went on a back yard safari today. Would you believe there was not an insect to be found, although I did see a white butterfly in the distance. I am wondering if it is because I encourage the bird population and they are cleaning my garden for me.

At least I found where a spider was living. No sign of the spider, but just the finest, most gossamer like web you could imagine. It was neatly hidden among dense foliage and without the drops, I would never have spotted it. It would only serve to catch the tiniest of insects.

So here is a macro of some of the sparkly drops. The web was so fine, it didnt show.
