It must be the time of year; after last week when the same work glove was in the same place if not quite the same position two days running I've passed at least two new street-work-gloves each day since, mostly entirely in the area within a lunchwalk of work. There is a fair bit of construction going on (don't know who they think they're going to rent the office-space to) but I'd have thought people who need gloves for their job to prevent finger-damage and hand-freezing would be more careful of them. I let a few of them go but photographed a few whose light enticed. There are likewise Many Chairs around at the moment as pubs leave a couple outside for lazier smokers and restaurants slowly come to terms with the fact that it's finally getting to be too cold even for people desperate to chuff whilst easting to sit outside for any length of time. This one appeared to be the only inhabitant of one of the failed restaurant-premises on the quayside, just next to former site of the all-too-brief extra Beanscene.
