A bit late to celebrate

If you think I'm a bit late for the Diamond Jubilee, you'd be right: 115 years late, to be precise! This plate commemorates Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee and dates from 1897. It looks as if this plate was put to use, not kept on display: the gilted edge is very worn and there's a tiny crack in the edge. Still, it's provided me with a bright blip on a dusty day.
