Light and shadow

I am late posting my phone blip of the train at the station in Dubbo. I returned home this way yesterday... 200k takes almost 3 hours. This is the fast train. This is the only train. Once a day return from Sydney to Dubbo takes hours.
It is a great way to travel as I caught up on a heap of rather dry reading which seems to accumulate. If you drive you can't do anything else and the down time is significant.
When I am in Dubbo I have numerous offers to go out for dinner, but I always go and visit Mum who is getting very frail.
