Beautiful lady

It was the thanksgiving service for Doris today - the lovely lady whose 100th birthday celebration a group of us went to in January. Early in September she came down for a 'holiday' at a lovely care home in Worthing so that local friends could go and visit her. When we got back from our holiday on 11th Sept we got a message to say that Doris, after a happy first few days, had been taken very ill and, a couple of days after, she passed away. Apparently, she had been very glad to be back in Worthing (which is where her heart was) and it meant that both the committal and thanksgiving were held in this area, so a lot of our elderly folk could get there. A beautiful day weatherwise too.
