Formality & frivolity

Great event at the cathedral went off without  a hitch and was followed by a wonderful community lunch. Not a crumb of cheesecake was left on the serving plate so I consider it to be a resounding success phew!

The evening was spent celebrating a friend's birthday. This rather unusual ice lolly drink was accompanied by a song and actions whenever it was ordered... for these reasons alone it was ordered A LOT! Be warned Blippers it's far more potent than it looks!  Fortunately there was plenty of great Japanese food too!

Might be stretching the pink link here... But after a few of those drinks the guy on the glass logo really did look pink!!
