Last few rays.

Having dropped daughter Grace off at the Redgrave Theatre in Clifton, Bristol, to get ready for tonight's performance of 'The Wedding Singer' - see extra; we walked up to the Avon Gorge to enjoy the last half hour of the evening sun on the terrace of the White Lion pub overlooking the Clifton Suspension Bridge.

It was packed with people doing the same thing but by 6.15pm the sun had gone and people started to disperse as the warmth disappeared with the sun.

We had a great night to end our holiday watching a really fun performance. We know quite a lot of the company now and they did a fabulous job. (Not least daughter Grace of course - she was super and as always made us very proud)

Returned to the top of their street for a curry which was excellent and as the proprietor said 'it is hard to please a Yorkshireman'!

We couldn't have had a better week or a better ending to it but I'm pooped now and ready for bed. Happy weekend everyone.
