A view from Jeanneb

Mrs Blackbird.

A truly glorious autumn morning and as I ate my breakfast and looked at blips I could see the black birds and starlings in the Rowan tree after the remaining berries.

Most are now at the ends of the branches hanging down and you could see there frustration at not being able to balance on the spindly branches.

My son often comes for tea on Sunday as he now lives in the village and today he had to sing for his supper. Whilst I was away last week Chris had some problems with the oven so he ordered a new fan. Alex was asked to help get the oven out of it's housing and effectively he fitted the fan for us. The oven is in use now cooking our dinner. Very useful having a son in the neighbourhood.
