Bad Feather Day

This hummingbird was resting above the flowers they love; I liked the little feet clinging to the branch and his ruffled feathers. He is a smaller hummer than the one yesterday.

Another beautiful day....this has been the warmest year in Portland....ever!! Lots of wonderful time outside today.  

I am sitting here inside now listening to the news; there are so many sad things happening locally and around the world. What can I do? I am tempted to turn it off and enjoy my ordinary life without knowledge of what is happening outside my life.
