A day of two halves.

Today another walk up Kinder Scout via that waterfall.  I don't walk with one particular Ramblers group but rather search online for a walk that I fancy doing regardless of which group organises it. The walk today was chosen because a) it was billed as 'strenuous' and b) it was up Kinder Scout via two waterfalls, and I chose well because the scrambling up the waterfalls was fun and the pace throughout was good.  Unfortunately, while the morning was sunny and warm, the afternoon was wet, wet, wet and cold and I found out that my almost new lightweight waterproof jacket was not in fact waterproof, and my boots weren't either.... although I did know about the boots!  Good walk in spite of the rain and good company :-)

For some reason my phone wasn't registered with it's network this afternoon and none of my texts were sent...  bl**dy phones!
