Bats

A slower day today which was good.  In the evening we joined a nature walk at a local park which was all about bats.  There was a talk about pipistrel bats by the local wildlife person for the park and then we were given little hand held receivers set to a particular frequency so we could hear the bats' echolocation chirps - we heard several but sadly didn't see many flitting about.
