Peppa at the beach

Peppa took a trip to the seaside today... 

Peppa is becoming a favourite and now sleeps in the cot and has started to come out and about with us... little un nearly got mugged by another toddler today, who made an excited launch at Peppa, but was fortunately held back by her own mum at the last minute... 

I'm still suffering with tonsillitis but little un is on the mend... she was looking a bit fed up this morning so I thought a trip up the road to North Berwick and a walk about the seafront was in order...  it seemed to do the trick... she enjoyed just having a look and watching the world go by and the exercise was good as she conked out in the car on the way back,  I managed to take her out and pop her in her cot when we got back, so she had a really comfy deep sleep. 

Then we had a bit of lunch and headed off to the local park this afternoon, where we bumped into a friend from toddler group...  

The day finished well as mum made us an apple and blackberry pie, which was awesome...  and little un has gone to bed at a reasonable time... 

A generally delightful day, which usually is an omen of doom for the next day, but I remain hopeful that tomorrow will be cheery, and that this hideous bug clears up soon...
