beautiful bromeliad

I love these flowers! I was not familiar with them until we moved to Florida almost 6 years ago. Looking through my blips today, I discovered that I've taken quite a few photos of bromeliads! They are beautiful gems in my garden, popping up to say hello :o) I will add this to FlowerFriday. Thanks to BikerBear for hosting and graciously welcoming my infrequent appearances. I just don't always remember or I am off doing something different than flowers. I do enjoy participating & looking -wow!
