Astronomy domine

So today we went to the Live from Jodrell Bank festival in Cheshire. As you can see, the huge Lovell telescope put on a show for us. It's a breathtaking piece of engineering.
Headline band Elbow didn't disappoint (they never do) and while they were playing images of other worlds and live concert footage was projected onto the telescope's dish.
A very good day.
