When Autumn approaches, Smokey spends more time indoors and is also more likely to be on my lap in the evening. Here he sunbathes on the conservatory doormat.

Eddie Cochran was born on 3 October 1938, in Albert Lea MN, 57 years ago from this day,  so was 19 when he recorded this, originally a B-side. He died in a Bath hospital on 17 April 1960 following a crash the previous day just a few miles from here in Calne, on Rowden Hill in Chippenham, following a gig in Bristol.
