Bowood 2015 #43 (Sunday 4th October 2015)

This image shows Bowood Lake and Lake Field, with Bowood House itself nestling on the horizon - a view I don't think I have blipped before, and so it wins over other contenders - some coast redwoods, an autumnal maple leaf, a hare, some bracken or a broad-leaved cockspur thorn. Summer greenery seems to be holding on at Bowood but elsewhere the landscape is in the full throes of change.
