Matterhorn !

We flew back today. It was cloudy very early on, so we were not expecting great views (we love trying to work out where we are, all that way up).

But then the clouds rolled back and we had a clear view of the Alps. The Matterhorn - a rather big Rock - is really easy to spot - it is what a mountain should look like (much better from below). And once spotted you can also see the nearby Weishorn and Rotthorn. Beyond, upper left and in the distance, is the Jungfrau massif. The Matterhorn forms part of the boundary between Italy and Switzerland, the plane in still over Italy.

Travel days are surreal. Breakfast in Pisa, flight in the morning, call in at M&S to get something for lunch and dinner, and then ASDA later on for a few other things. I feel disoriented. Flop out tonight.
