Two Days of Shakespeare, and two Blips.

Yesterday there was Hamlet, with Benedict Cumberbatch playing the lead role. No, we weren’t in London, we were still in mid-Sweden so we were watching this wonderful performance via “Live at the Cinema”, together with audiences across the UK and the world.
This seems to be a brilliant way to see this production.  You have the best seats in the house and see the action close up. The scenography is fantastic, the music very impressive and the acting truly wonderful. At the same time the excitement and buzz of live theatre is there. (To prove it’s live there were a few hiccups with the sound, nothing serious but noticeable at times!)
This production ended with an appeal, as you can see in the photograph.  Having paid about £15 for out tickets we had money over for Save The Children too.
They will be more Shakespeare in the next Blip too, but also Jeanette Winterson…
That second Blip can be found here..
