Chasing Rainbows

I realise how typically British I am when looking back through my blips. I always talk about the weather! But today the weather has been particularly remarkable, constantly switching from torrential rain to bright sunshine. I did try to get a rainbow shot, but they kept disappearing as quickly as they arrived.

I initially uploaded a shot of a hedgerow and wild flowers with sun lighting up raindrops making them glisten like jewels, but the sparkles weren't that visible on the standard blip-size picture. I hope that the very dark clouds and bright evening sun in this shot give a bit of a feel for the day. Also, I thought this followed on from yesterday's photo quite well.
