Various fungi have sprouted from the tulip tree (where Norbert lives).

This, of course, is wholly unrepresentative of the day which included exploring builders yards and ordering materials for future projects; collecting A from the station, and filling indoor ponds with ten barrows of hardcore - that ought to be enough drainage for the cacti.

I'd forgotten just how deep that hole was.  Still, it reunited quite a lot of bricks with the house.
