Rossness Falcon

TT was away with work, but BB and I were up early as we had packing to finish.  To be more exact, I had packing to finish as he watched TV.  That probably made things easier.  We headed off late morning with the sun shining – a lovely start to our week away (known as the tattie holidays when I was young).  As we drove west it got dull and grey, but as we headed east again we were back in the sunshine, until we reached our destination.  Crail, our home for the week, was enveloped in haar and it was chilly.  We located our accommodation for the week, moved our stuff in and had some lunch.  Luckily the haar cleared a bit while we were lunching, so we headed out to explore.

We had our first of many visits to the harbour, and walked around the coast to the playpark, coming back through the town.  We spotted the fish and chip shop which is where we went for tea later on  - and a very delicious tea it was too.  BB watched a Narnia film and once he was in bed I watched The Theory of Everything. The start of a relaxing week.

Here is a boat in Crail harbour.
