Mesopotamia landscape

I drove up to Mesopotamia Station this afternoon with Horomaka and MrsH. Not so far from their home, but a world apart. Such magnificent views. This image is taken from White Rock, and looks over the Rangitata River, past the Harper Range on the right, towards the Two Thumb Range.

The link above to Horomaka will take you to the same Matai tree that I posted yesterday - a truly magnificent giant of the forest. I don't think that he's posted his Mesopotamia image yet.

Go the All Blacks! Horomaka & I are planning to watch at 4am tomorrow morning - we're hoping for a victory over the Boks, of course :)
