If you can't beat them...

The Moss Haybridge Nature Reserve.

This is the view across the moss at Haybridge Nature reserve.  I find this view very Scottish reminding me of some of the habitats I knew when I used to volunteer on the Insh Marsh RSPB reserve before I was married.

Having got the general layout of the reserve in our heads yesterday we decided to take a fairly long walk across the moss and round the boundary of the more northern part of the reserve.

The reserve has lots of interest for the naturalist with animals such Red Deer  through to bats. A variety of habitats are there as well: the moss, fen, pastures, river, woodlands tarns etc.
