Tarawera Spring Fair

This morning started at 4.00am when we were patriotic and placed ourselves in front of the T.V to watch our team play South Africa in the Rugby World Cup at Twickenham.  Fortunately for us we were the winners by 2 points.  It was a tense game and a grind compared to last weeks exciting running game against the French.  It means they play in the final and that's a relief for the country.  I'm sure not everyone is obsessed with rugby but it does dominate the media at the moment.
Later in the morning we went out to Lake Tarawera to the annual spring fair.  It was a sparkling day and even warm enough for children to be swimming in the lake.  These little donkeys were continuously plodding a little circuit giving children a ride.
Extras: Megl had a stall showcasing her photography and I took a quick shot when she and Sarah sat down for two seconds.  The other is to show the setting for the fair on a large grass area beside the lake and with Mt Tarawera, a dormant volcano in the background.
