Beautiful Budapest

Arrived back in Budapest this afternoon after a leisurely and mystical sail through thick mist along the Danube. The sun came out in time for our bus tour round the Pest area of the city and our walking tour of the Buda area.

What glorious sights the sunshine revealed, with one beautiful building after the other. So hard to choose what to blip, so another collage of this and that:-)

It includes the delightful spiral towers (7 of them) of the Fishermens Bastion, the Parliament Buildings by day, the ship's bell, St Matthias' Basillica and the busy Danube by night.

There was a Captain's Farewell Dinner (7 delicious courses) in the evening and then it was time to stagger back to our cabin to pack our cases for tomorrow's departure.

Unfortunately, I also packed the bit of paper with the wi-fi code, so couldn't send my blip on the right day, so this is a backblip!
