Autum Woodland

A beautiful afternoon spent in Heatherhall Woods (near Ladybank, Fife).

We haven't had any very strong winds recently but leaves have been blown from exposed trees.  However, this woodland is a mix of mature scotspines and an under-storey of deciduous trees - mostly birch - and the shelter provided means that very few leaves have fallen even though they have changed colour.

My main blip is an 'arty' one with an added overlay but three more 'normal' views have been uploaded as extras.

A big thankyou to those who have commented recently and awarded stars.
