Taking Flight

Another enjoyable morning at Sweetwater Wetlands Park here in Gainesville, FL. Wood Storks are impressively large birds. I have many photos of them in my files, most of which are of the storks standing around in their typical hunched over and grouchy-looking poses. But this morning I got lucky and caught this one in flight. It looks very prehistoric to me.
In today's 'Extras'...#1. another Green Anole, but this one with a striking pattern on her back. #2. Male Boat-tailed Grackle announcing his happiness to all. #3. Blue-wing Teals...touring.
Wishing you all a Peaceful Week.
