A Day Worth Recording

Glade

This is the entrance to the part of the garden we call 'the glade'.  The garden being the size it is, it helps to have names for different sections so we can locate each other on the radios!

Misty all day today, and we've been out garden-shifting this afternoon in preparation for Colwall Stone to start on the 'Terrace project' this coming week. 'Patio' doesn't really cut it.  We'll have a fair quantity of soil to shift, and we aim to use that to slightly level the glade area.  Thus, E's been shifting some of the Malvern Stone we'd uncovered in there, before it's buried. I've been shifting logs and a ton or two of building rubble that we'd also uncovered. Thinking ahead, that should be the base for the new railway...

This is one area where we're not preserving the original paths that we uncovered during clearing.  Mainly that's because the garden boundaries have been cut and pasted a lot around here and most paths just fail to lead anywhere any more.
