Three men

Today was astonishingly beautiful: mist steaming from the fields and around the autumn trees as I left Oxford, a crisp bright sky over the Chilterns then back into swirling mist as I got close to London. It burnt off then the city glowed in the sun. My camera walked me for an hour to meet my friends then for an hour back again. As the light began to fail the mist swirled back in like smoke, shrouding the low buildings and climbing in wisps around the taller buildings. From my homebound bus heading along Westway in the dusk, I was convinced that the city was on fire.

Extras and more.
