Recycle Guy

This guy will pedal all around the place collecting stuff for recycling. He has some metal bars, cardboard boxes and plastic bottles. You may be able to see the thing in his hand. Usually a chunk of metal or a cymbal which he will beat on a metal part of his cart to let people know he is around and that they can bring their stuff to him. He will then buy it and sell it to a recycling depot.

There are hundreds of these men and women around the city.. They go through bags of trash that people have left for collection or just get it straight from people in the street. Maybe even renovation or building sites. A hard, hard life. It may seem like they would be dirty people but I believe they do a great job, for themselves and also for the enviroment and they always seem cheery.
