A bit of rain

So, there's been a bit of rain today (to be Britishly understated!).

I had a course to attend on the other side of the city and my lovely husband, seeing my distress about the drive, offered to take me in with him. It was quite a detour for him; about an hour and a half out of his way! He said more than once how glad he was that he had offered since the stress I would have experienced driving through the inclement weather on unfamiliar and very busy roads was unthinkable!

What a sweetheart. So, on a rainy old day, I've managed to stay dry and Mr Barking has earnt some very worthwhile husband points!
