Looking Out Across the Treetops at Living Springs

It's been yet another very long day. I'm writing up this blip in the wee small hours (it's 2.25am) as I've not been home long after doing a shoot this evening at Living Springs, on the hills above Allandale.

The big occasion was the Annual Awards Night for the Diamond Harbour Fire Brigade. It was a great night; such a wonderful atmosphere as two long serving members of the brigade celebrated their 50th (yes, 50!) and 25th year of service.

In between taking candid shots of the guests, I managed to sneak out onto the balcony to get this evening shot looking up Lyttleton harbour.

Right, time to finish this night cap and then head to bed.
