Coal Tit

I was beginning to think I would have to blip another macro today when the rain stopped for a short time and I was able to go out.  I'm so glad I did  -  a day confined indoors is so frustrating and the breeze and fresh air even for that short time was bliss.

I spotted this pretty little thing down at Cromwell Bottom and you can clearly see the seed put out to entice the birds into the space in front of the hide. The more picky bird blippers frown on this and like to make sure their shots are as natural looking as possible;  I think they probably have a point, but all the same what's a bit of bird seed amongst friends?
