Strange sight

Part of the park where I walk was at one time a farm. A house sat on the bluff overlooking the river and an orchard stretched behind it. Now only remnants remain. Walking through the orchard today, I spotted this probable remnant apparently hung on the tree by someone who came by earlier. I am sure I could think of something clever and metaphorical if I tried, but I don't have time right now. How about you? Blippers are very clever and creative people. Have at it.
