Happy Birthday Dad!

I've had a good day. It's been tiring, but all in all, it was a success.

It's my Dad's 70th birthday today. I wish I could be over in the UK with the family to celebrate, but we're looking forward to having another celebration when we're over there for Christmas.

I chose this shot (or these shots really), not because it is particularly good or clever, but rather because of the smile the wedgies put on my face. They are such beautiful, elegant birds as they circle high up above us all. Anything that puts a smile on my face is worth documenting, in my opinion.
